Ministry Practice I Ministry Practice II Ministry Practice III Christian Education
Practical Participation entails practical ministry involvement in the student’s congregation, under supervision of his/her shepherd/minister as mentor and elders or senior Christian workers that assist the mentor in his task. In the formal academic study program, there are modules and prescribed study material that already deal with spiritual and practical themes. The purpose of this program is therefore to continue building on these themes in real life practice and to focus on the personal experience and practical participation of the student.
These take the form of projects such as Group Bible Study (Biblical Studies); Evangelism outreach and preaching (Practical Theology); Mission outreach (Missiology); etc. Otherwise there are a variety of practical sessions, such as attending or leading prayer, analysing a sermon, etc.
